Western United Velenkai Directorate

The Western UVD is the more industrially powerful of the two Directorate factions, controlling the output corridors and population centres that give Velenkai its economic weight. It was consolidated under Fractureborn influence following Kaelen Veris's political ascent and represents the more administratively functional arm of the movement's governance experiment.

Functional, however, does not mean stable. The Western UVD governs through a combination of ideological coherence and coercive control, and the gap between those two instruments has widened as the conflict has escalated. Relations with the Eastern UVD are adversarial — nominally unified under the Directorate framework, practically competing for the same legitimacy.
