Eastern United Velenkai Directorate

The Eastern UVD occupies the harder, colder, more geographically complex portion of Velenkai's contested territory. Its proximity to the unmarked interior and the northern mountain laboratories gives it access to research infrastructure and ungoverned zones that the Western UVD lacks — an asymmetry both sides are aware of.

The east-west split within the Directorate framework represents either a formal partition or a transitional state following upheaval — possibly both simultaneously. What is clear is that the Eastern UVD does not regard the Western as a partner, and the coordination that Fractureborn unity once implied has largely dissolved into competitive maneuvering.
