Solvane

Solvane occupies the southern, milder half of Nor Sereen — a different world from Norrath's interior. Its climate supports agriculture, its coastline supports trade, and its disposition supports the kind of outward-facing engagement that Norrath refuses. Where Norrath looks inward, Solvane looks out to sea.

As the continent's primary diplomatic and trade interface, Solvane hosts most of Nor Sereen's foreign negotiations and maintains the active port infrastructure that Norrath's exports depend on to reach the wider world. There is a quiet irony in this: Norrath produces what the world wants, but Solvane controls how it gets there.

More cosmopolitan by nature, Solvane has developed a more complex civic identity than its northern neighbour — one shaped by regular contact with foreign traders, diplomats, and ideas.
