Labour unrest has been a feature of Hevrath's political life for generations. The nation's workforce powers manufacturing output that flows primarily into Vel Thorn's supply chains, with returns that Hevrath's labour movements have long argued are structurally inadequate. Strikes, slowdowns, and political agitation are recurring rather than exceptional.

The Freeband's proximity has made Hevrath more permeable to outside ideas than Vel Thorn would prefer. Fractureborn materials have circulated in Hevrath's industrial districts. Whether this represents meaningful ideological alignment or simply the appetite of a population with legitimate grievances remains unclear.
